Following the Arkansas State FLL Championship Tournament that was held in December 2010, our team takes a break from all the hard work for several weeks.
In January we will prepare for a tournament that will be held in Hot Springs in February. This small tournament will involve about ten teams from Arkansas, and is a good way for team members to have a little more tournament experience with running a robot during a match.
During the spring months, the team members do some individual research work concerning the research theme for the next tournament season. Periodic meetings will be held for the members to discuss what they have found, and hopefully, the team can narrow their topic to one subject and get a lot of supporting research completed before the next season of robot programming becomes so time consuming!
Would you like to join into this awesome opportunity? Why not start a team of your own? After all, that's what we did several years ago, We will help you do that! Jump in with both feet, and get ready for an experience of a lifetime!

The Mid-America Science Museum hosted an FLL Tournament that was attended by thirteen teams. Snow threatened those of us who were driving to the tournament, but we made it. The Rock City team placed 2nd at the end of the day!

Our team did a Lego League presentation and robot demonstration at the 4-H Center near Ferndale, Arkansas. The children who attended were very excited to see the robots that we brought in action! We hope we inspired some of those who attended to start their own Lego League team!

First, we showed a video presentation of the history of the Rock City Robots Team. You can view it from our "video" page on this website.

The team members speak about what it is like to be on a Lego League team, what they have learned, and how much fun they have at competitions!
