So you want to become a part of an FLL team? Great! Here are some ways to do that.

1. Start your own team!

This is the easiest way to get involved in the excitement. Grab a few friends, think of a name for your robot team, and register with the FIRST®LEGO® League for the new competition season in May of each year.

Let us know you are starting a team. We would be glad to answer questions and help you get started. We also offer a seminar each year on LEGO Mindstorms computer programming software, and we'll help you understand the basics in programming your robot. Check the "schedule" page for more information about this. Usually offered in the Spring,we call it "Spring Training."

2. Join an existing team.

This is harder to do. The Rock City Robots team does not always have available positions, but things change from time to time, so send us an email and let us know you are interested. We will also let you know if we know of any teams in our area that are looking for more team members. Go to our home page and find "contact" in the left-side menu.
