Here are the important dates for the team to know. Any events that are listed as TBA will be updated as soon as the team coach knows the information.

February 2011 Saturday, February 5, 2011- FIRST Lego League Tournament at the Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Tournament begins at 9 AM. Friday, February 25, 2011- Rock City Robots team presents an informational "What is FLL?" Presentation. 4-H Center in Ferndale. See robot demonstrations and learn how to start your own FLL team.

April 27 - 30, 2011 - FIRST Lego League World Festival in St. Louis, Missouri.
Monday, May 2, 2011 - FIRST Lego League Team Registration begins for the 2011 Tournament season. To register a new team, click here!
Date To Be Announced: Spring Training : For rookie team members and coaches of new teams. We will introduce the Lego Mindstorms NXT robot building system and software that is used during the FLL Challenge Season. We will also discuss research project ideas, and assign areas of research that our rookie team members can begin working on for the science presentation. Session Fee of $15 and registration form are required, due one week in advance If you are a rookie coach for a new FLL team in the Central Arkansas area and are interested in finding out more about this event, please click the email link to the home page and let us know.

Team registration will begin in July, with all registration fees being due by August 3.
July 12, 2011 : Research Class and Field Trip July 14, 2011 : Research Field Trip
August 5, 2011 : First Rock City Robot team meeting. Although the Challenge Details will not be announced yet, the team will be putting together the Robot Challenge playing field, and discuss the research project ideas.
August 17, 2011 : Research Field Trip

First Week of September, 2011: Global challenge details are released and the 2011 Tournament season begins. October 28 - 29, 2011: FIRST LEGO League Robotics demonstrations at the Clinton Library. November 3 - 30, 2011: Rock City Robots Team Presents: Food Safety Challenge at the Thompson Library! Come see the exhibit, and try out our interactive display of food safety questions. November 11 - 12 , 2011: FIRST LEGO League Robotics demonstrations at the Clinton Library.
