| We've begun! Our first team meeting was spent building all the little Lego Challenge components. We don't know what we'll do with those pieces yet, but it was fun to put them all together and brainstorm about what MIGHT happen!

Programming 101 - Sept. 4, 2008 We had another team meeting that was all about programming the robot. We had a few fun challenges that we had to complete that helped us learn the Lego Mindstorms computer software.
Also, the 2008 challenge was released September 5. The team is SO excited to get to work and compete in December. Keep checking in for more updates!
Guest Speaker - Sept. 18, 2008 This week we had a special guest speaker! Willa Williams is a University of Arkansas Instructor with the 4-H STEM program, and she helped us get organized and think through the steps to accomplish our mission.
We have our field setup table built, our next task is to take these pieces.....
and turn them into a working robot that will help us complete our mission! Keep checking in for more updates coming soon!
Getting Serious- Sept. 25, 2008 Today, we focused on getting the part of the challenge that involves getting the carbon dioxide balls moved out of the way. We have accomplished getting one of them moved! Also, we talked about what our science presentation for the judges at the competition is going to be about.
